I founded the FLAS Foundation in 2024 to give science-savvy creatives the roadmap I wish I had when I started scaling my freelance business: practical, empowering, and with thought-out systems.
I built a multi-six figure medical communications agency straight out of my PhD, without prior marketing experience
This allowed me to have the flexibility and freedom to raise two kids under four, pay off my student loans, and save for down deposits on a car and house.

That a 6-year-old girl who could convince her grandfather to sign on a dotted line and reverse draft a contract for him to take her to the McDonald's indoor playground within the following month would become an ENTREPRENEUR someday.

A portion of all FLAS profits is donated to the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada (📸: Michael Neugebauer), whose biodiversity research continues to inspire me, just as Dr. Goodall did when I first dreamed of a career in science at age 14. This is one small way I give back.
